Senior Backend/NodeJs Developer – Orema

We are a startup company founded in Antalya, Turkey on 2018. Our main purpose is creating solutions for different industries using cutting edge technologies with the help of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning. Currently we have focused on a new blockchain project (Project details will be shared on the last interview) and searching talented new companions.

We are looking for a talented Back-end/NodeJs Developer to join our Technical team.

• BA Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science / A related field or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years’ experience in development on modern stacks
• Communication skills for both within the teams and cross-functional teams
• Proficient in Javascript and TypeScript
• Proficient in PostgreSql and familiar with at least one NoSQL database
• Proficient in distributed system design, and familiar with at least one messaging middle ware and the underlying design principles
• Proficiency in NodeJS and RushJs + Moleculer or nest.js
• Good understanding of fundamental design principles for a scalable application
• Experience in architecting, designing and implementing large scale systems
• Knowledge of event-driven, serverless computing platforms such as AWS Lambdas
• Strong unit test and debugging skills
• Experience and understanding of CI/CD principles
• Familiarity with SCRUM/Agile methodologies
• A communicative, focused and organized personality
• Capable to cope with stress, quick-learner
• Used to a fast-paced environment and can handle changing priorities

Nice to have

• Knowledge on Java would be awesome and plus
• Knowledge of Cloud Services (especially AWS and related AWS Services)
• Understanding of Infrastructure as a Code paradigm
• Familiarity with non-relational databases such as MongoDB, Couchbase, DynamoDB, Cassandra etc.
• Knowledge of containerized systems and experience with Docker, Swarm and/or Kubernetes
• Experience with software development tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, JIRA
