Our ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of web-based application development processes as well as emerging web technologies. Position Goals
- Develop innovative eco-systems that are constantly evolving, code reviewed, tested, and hardened
- Reach short and long-term objectives in a highly experienced team while maintaining code quality and scalability
Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of backend development experience in PHP, Laravel framework
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL technologies
- Working knowledge of NoSQL & key-value store systems, MongoDB and Redis in particular
- Working knowledge of GraphQL & REST APIs
- Fluent enough to understand and code in English, as well as read technical documents
- Strong task completion skills and experience with fast-paced development cycles
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team, regularly push code to Git source control system
- Produce clean, readable, and properly documented code
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or information technology
- Frontend development (React, Vue, etc.) experience
- Familiarity with *nix as development and production environments
- Highly skilled in written English
