We are looking for a Freelance React Native Developer to take part in our journey to help people who seek privacy and security during their online presence. Our app, ZudVPN, is an open source Virtual Private Network (VPN) application that enables its users to deploy their private servers on major cloud providers. Our plan is to add onboarding screens that help users understand the UI and the flow of private VPN solutions. Additionally, implement new cloud provider APIs, in-app purchase features that can be used in Pro version.

Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in React Native
- Good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Good knowledge of UI and UX principles
- Good knowledge of RESTful APIs and OAuth authentication
- Experience in testing with Jest
- Experience in eslint and prettier
- Experience in Git and GitHub
- Knowledge of native modules is a big plus
- Big plus if you already have a published app or open sourced app
Tools used by ZudVPN:
- React Native (obviously)
- TypeScript – recently migrated for strict types and more
- RancherOS – A containerized OS used during VPN server deployment
- strongSwan – IPSec-based VPN solution (Docker image: https://github.com/zudvpn/strongswan)
- Let’s Encrypt – Free SSL certificate provider (used for Client/Server connections)
- Pi-Hole – DNS ad-blocker
