We are looking for a recent college grad or early-career QA/Business Analyst to join our exciting, driven and talented team. Hard work and developing jointly as a team is key to our success. The emphasis of the open position is on defining, improving, and executing the technology development processes and operations. The QA/Business Analyst will be in charge of ensuring that the technology and software products that we develop serve our platform partners and shoppers’ needs and requirements. The role is a combination of business analysis and quality assurance leadership. The selected candidate will join the production team with a focus on designing and implementing a winning approach to integrated product design, development, quality assurance, and testing.
● Develop the quality strategy: You will work with leadership to understand our development roadmap and current operations in order to formulate a strategy for achieving the necessary level of uncompromisingly high-quality standards
● Monitor, refine, and automate the quality strategy: You will monitor for quality problems and work to fix the process. Where possible, you will automate processes and testing
● Help identify likely quality problems proactively: You will analyze specific requirements, identifying gaps, as well as participate in story creation to ensure that acceptance criteria are sufficiently clear and well documented
● Validate features and usability: You will coordinate, manage, and perform all testing efforts and associated documentation
● Measure and analyze product usage: You will analyze data coming from various analytics platforms to determine what features are successful and help prioritize our roadmap
● Participate in product design: You will suggest new features, product improvements, and identify usability challenges
● Strong English is written and spoken communication skills in an international team structure—your teammates will come from many different parts of the world
● Experience with reviewing the usability of web applications
● Ability to work with senior management and leadership and speak up when necessary
● Quick learner with a passion for start-ups, technology, and product development
● Experience working with data collection, management and analysis
● Experience with software development environments
● Experience with documenting and troubleshooting software defects Bonus Points
● BS in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering
● Experience with bug-tracking, configuration management, and quality/test management tools
