We are looking for an Android Developer responsible for the development and maintenance of our applications. You will be working along-side other engineers and developers on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our mobile application,
- Develop and update the Codebase to comply with best-practice and design standards and to be scalable,
- Optimize the performance of our application,
- Work closely with the Product team to continuously improve our application,
- Contribute to the development of solutions together with the team against general technological problems encountered as part of the Engineering team.
Skills
- 3+ years of Android development experience
- Experience working with Java, Kotlin,
- Strong OOP skills,
- Expert knowledge of Android development tools and external libraries (Dagger, Kotlin Coroutines, Picasso, Moshi, Retrofit),
- Experience developing asynchronous, multi-threaded Server-Client applications,
- Experience on integrating mobile applications with backend services (HTTP, REST, JSON, OAuth, SQL technologies knowledge)
- Knowledge of Android Jetpack,
- Knowledge of design patterns MVVM, MVP, MVC, and general design considerations,
- Knowledge of android architecture components,
- Knowledge in the use of git,
- Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies,
- Have published one or more Android apps in the Play Store,
- Experience in Bluetooth Low Energy is a plus,
- Experience with the Agile / Scrum methodologies,
- Creative and fast problem-solving skills,
- Good team player, result-oriented attitude and analytical mind,
- Strong communicational and interpersonal skills,
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, engineering or a related field.
