Türkiye Today is seeking an experienced reporter—based in Istanbul—with a background in video journalism and a track record of creating original content.
An integral part of the job is visual storytelling. The ideal candidate must possess the ability for inhouse production and editing of videos for our social media channels.

Primary Responsibilities
- Daily inhouse production of short-form social media videos
- Pitching ideas and drafting scripts of engaging videos
- Proactively engaging with a large team to turn ideas into reality
- Experimenting with long-form and various formats of visual storytelling
- Keeping up with the latest news, ability to judge viewer demand
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent grasp of English
- At least 2 years of multimedia storytelling production experience at a news organization
- Adept video editing skills with Adobe Premiere
- Familiarity with design and animation software: Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects
- Experience handling professional camera equipment and ability to film
- Ability to create original videos that incorporate audio, video, still images and text
- Excellent news judgment and ability to work with colleagues and reporters to synthesize information into a tight, informative and engaging video
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Adept at working under deadlines in a high-pressure newsroom environment
