About Fited
Fited makes custom-fit 3D-printed medical body braces and prosthetics from just images. Every year, over a million people across the globe have to wear inaccurate bulky medical devices. Fited is creating a software platform to digitize the end-to-end process from disease detection to treatment, solving problems with the inaccurate and inaccessible traditional plaster casting and hand-molding process used today. What we are building:
Fited is bringing digital innovation to medical bracing, orthopedics, prosthetics and implants. We use 3D printing, machine learning, remote sensing, and our patent-pending AI driven CAD technology (AICAD) to create elegant, accurate, patient-specific products in a safe and accessible process. Our first product focus is a globally accessible treatment for pediatric scoliosis with 3d printed scoliosis braces, though our software scales across knee braces, wrist braces, foot & ankle orthosis, and arm & foot prosthesis.
Fited is a global startup with offices in New York, Netherlands, and Izmir.
Job Description:
Fited is looking for entrepreneurial software engineers who are ready to inspire us and our global user base. Join our multidisciplinary team of mathematicians, computational architects, community builders, biomechanical engineers, industrial designers, medical doctors, orthotists and software engineers to dream a better future for the healthcare industry in bringing digital innovation to the medical custom fit devices across diagnosis, prescription, and treatment in using the future present technologies across computer vision, 3D Modeling, machine learning, and deep learning.
About The Role:
* You will join our team in software design, authoring, documentation, execution, delivery, and deployment.
* You will collaborate in integrating the best-in-class experiences for our solutions
* You will enchant the team with your in depth knowledge of current, and future software technologies.
* You will strive and work towards getting community recognition of our solutions.
Your Basic Qualifications:
* Strong skills in designing and developing web-based applications and services using HTML5, CSS, and Javascript etc.
* Strong understanding of Object Oriented and SOA design concepts; experience in developing in Python with at least one web framework
* Strong experience with data modeling and relational/non-relational databases.
* Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and crafting for performance.
* Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering.
Your Preferred Qualifications:
* Excellent understanding and experience with unit testing, integration testing, and/or UI automation.
* Experience with event-driven programming, and server-side templating languages
* Experience with Firebase and/or Google Cloud
* Experience with Jenkins and other foundational frameworks
* Masters or PhD. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering.
